Unicoi State Park

Nestled in the north Georgia mountains just two miles from the Alpine village of Helen, Unicoi is one of Georgia’s most beloved state parks. Throughout the year, the park offers outstanding programs which focus on natural, cultural, historical and recreational resources. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy hiking and biking on scenic mountain trails, especially those leading to Helen and Anna Ruby Falls

If you like shopping, we've got wonderful shops and galleries ...

Just 2 miles away, is Alpine Helen, a unique shopping village with outlet stores and restaurants, too. www.ngeorgia.com lists many area attractions and activities. Many other galleries and shops are along Scenic Highway 197 ... a beautiful drive through the mountains.

Our area is home to some spectacular waterfalls:

Becky Branch Falls, Dick's Creek Falls, Martin Creek Falls, Mud Creek Falls, Minnehaha Falls (one of the most beautiful, must-see waterfalls in the north Georgia area).
